PHIL 3395 Feminist Philosophy

This is a philosophical study of the condition of women in history and contemporary society. The oppression of women is analyzed in terms of its causes, and in terms of what would be required to overcome it from various philosophical viewpoints such as liberalism, socialism, existentialism, psychoanalysis, and radical feminism. May be taken as a CLST elective.
