Information Systems (A.A.)

The Information Systems program provides a degree for students who want a two-year degree in business with a focus in information technology.  The Associate of Arts degree with a major in Information Systems requires 21 hours of approved core curriculum courses and 15 hours required within the concentration plus electives to bring the total hours for the degree to 60 semester hours.  The degree also requires the completion of 22 clock hours of community service.  This program is for active duty military personnel only.

A. 18 hours University Core Curriculum

Select 3 hours from MUSI 1320, MUSI 3350, MUSI 3348, or MUSI 2346 or Fine Arts course approved through transfer to UIW

Social Science Course (3 hours from selection)
Select 3 hours from ANTH 1311, ANTH 2324, SOCI 1311, PSYC 1301, or ECON/ECN 2301 course approved through transfer to UIW
MATH 1304College Algebra

B. Required Business Technology Courses (15 hours):

C. Electives to meet 60 total credit hours for the degree

Students must complete a minimum of 30 semester hours at UIW where 24 of the final 30 hours are taken at UIW+.

+Active-duty military students must take a minimum of 15 hours at UIW.
