The Transfer Center is your key resource to successfully transition from Triton College to a four-year university/college. Transfer specialists offer the following services to help you meet your transfer goals so that you can transfer smoothly and with confidence.
- Walk-in Transfer Support: Walk-in to the Transfer Center any time for transfer guidance. Have questions answered about transfer requirements, university admission applications, financial aid/transfer scholarships, university costs, and other questions about the university or universities you are considering transferring to.
- One-on-One Transfer Advising: Schedule a meeting with transfer specialists early to ensure your Triton College credits align with your university goals.
- Transfer Events and Workshops: Attend transfer events such as Transfer Fairs. Attend workshops (in-person and virtually) such as Transfer 101, How to Pay for College, and How to Write a Stellar Essay.
- Meetings with Colleges and University Transfer Representatives: Each semester the Transfer Center hosts individual visits with different colleges and universities. In addition to attending University Transfer Fairs, meetings with university transfer representatives can also be done through University Table Visits, Information Sessions, and On-the-Spot Admission Events. These meetings can help you better understand specific questions you may have about a university, such as what your university experience will be like after you transfer.
- Transfer Guides, Transfer Agreements and Guaranteed Admission Programs: Triton College has partnerships with selected colleges and universities to offer students the opportunity to pursue their education goals. These include guides and agreements that help students plan courses to take at Triton College that will transfer to a specific university, and admission programs that support the admission to a university process. Students may be required to meet stated guidelines of the transfer institutions.
- University Center: Triton College offers students the opportunity to further their higher educational pursuits for select bachelor and master degree programs without leaving the Triton campus. Questions about any of these programs should be directed to the Transfer Center.
