ARLE 30103 Leadership, Dynamics and Planning in the Arts
Prerequisites: ARLE 20103. This course covers a number of essential
components of leading complex arts organizations, including organizational dynamics and systems, balancing multiple priorities, resources, facilities and functions, developing staff and volunteers, working with unions, and coordinating projects. This course explores effective leadership practices, strategic planning,
organizational change, development and learning, human resources management and effective teams. Students develop leadership competencies and skills.
