CRJ 499 Undergraduate Capstone in Criminal Justice

This course serves as the capstone course for the Criminal Justice program. Topics include the criminal justice system, criminology, reporting, law enforcement, investigations, laws, courts, juvenile justice, adult corrections and security management. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of problems and scenarios, the application of policies and procedures, and informed and ethical decision-making to provide solutions within the criminal justice system.

A grade of C or higher is required for satisfactory course completion.

Course residency requirement: This course must be taken as last or next-to-last class; it is not eligible for transfer credit and must be taken at Strayer University.
