Tuition Charges
2016 and 2017 Undergraduate Tuition
Full-time and part-time undergraduate students admitted or re-admitted (defined as taking three or more quarters off) in Winter 2014 or later are charged at a rate of $1,420 per course during 2016. Students who are admitted re-admitted on or after November 7, 2016 will be charged at a rate of $1,435 per course beginning in the Winter Quarter 2017. Students admitted or re-admitted from Winter 2014 through November 6, 2016 will be charged at a rate of $1,435 per course beginning in the Spring Quarter 2017.
Students who were admitted or re-admitted prior to Winter 2014 are charged at the rate of $1,700 per course if full-time (3 or more courses attempted per quarter) or charged at the rate of $1,775 per course if part-time (fewer than 3 courses attempted per quarter).
In Tennessee, part-time and full-time undergraduate students who are either: (i) first-time University enrollees, or (ii) are readmitted after not attending the University for three or more quarters, are charged at the rate of $1,420 per course during 2016 and 2017. In Tennessee, part-time and full-time undergraduate students who first enrolled prior to Winter 2014, or who were readmitted prior to Winter 2014, are charged at the rate of $1,775 for courses.
Where textbooks and supplies are not included as part of the Course Materials Fee, students must purchase them separately, and should allow approximately $150 per course for textbooks and supplies.
2016 - 2017 Graduate Tuition (Not applicable to Jack Welch Management Institute)
Students in master’s programs enrolled in Winter 2015 and thereafter are charged at the rate of $2,450 per course, except as noted below:
a. Students are charged at a rate of $2,325 per course if they either: (i) enrolled in the University for the first time prior to the Winter 2015 Term and have taken no more than two consecutive quarters off; (ii) were first-time University enrollees or were re-admitted to the University after having taken three or more quarters off, and registered for Winter 2015 Term classes prior to October 17, 2014, and have since taken no more than 2 consecutive quarters off; OR (iii) are Tennessee students.
b. Students are charged at a rate of $2,940 per course if they enrolled in the updated Master of Business Administration program effective Spring 2017. The updated Master of Business Administration program is not approved in North Carolina or Pennsylvania. Students enrolled in the updated Master of Business Administration program who complete all 10 required courses and seek to earn a Master of Business Administration with a concentration designation will not be charged tuition for the additional two courses required to earn the designation. However, the regular per-course tuition rate will be charged for any of the additional two courses that are retaken.
c. Students are charged at a rate of $2,940 per course if they enrolled in the Digital Entrepreneurship Master of Business Administration effective Summer 2017. Students will pay for all 12 courses. The Digital Entrepreneurship Master of Business Administration is not yet approved in all states. Please go to www.strayer.edu for the latest information regarding program availability.
d. Students are charged at a rate of $1,800 per course if they enrolled in the Master of Science in Nursing effective Summer 2017. Students will pay for 11 courses, students will not be charged tuition for their first attempt in the NUR500 course. The Master of Science in Nursing is not yet approved in all states, Please go to www.strayer.edu for the latest information regarding program availability.
e. New or readmit Summer 2017 students enrolled in the Master of Business Administration program with a residence in the state of Florida will be charged at a rate of $2,000 per course.
f. New or readmit Summer 2017 students enrolled in the
Master of Education, Master of Public Administration, Master of Science in
Accounting, or Master of Science in
Health Services Administration will be charged at the rate of $1,650 per course.

2016 - 2017 Jack Welch Management Institute Tuition
Students enrolled in Strayer University’s Jack Welch Management Institute, Executive Master of Business Administration program shall be charged tuition as follows:
a. Students who were first-time enrollees or were last re-admitted on or after November 7, 2016 are charged at the rate of $3,450 per 4.5 credit hour course during the Winter 2017 quarter and thereafter.
(i) Students who are residents of Tennessee who were first-time enrollees or were last re-admitted after Summer 2014 are charged at the rate of $3,250 per 4.5 credit hour course.*
b. Students who were first-time enrollees or were last re-admitted during the Summer 2014 – November 6, 2016 period are charged at the rate of $3,250 per 4.5 credit hour course for the Winter 2017 quarter and then $3,450 per 4.5 credit hour course for the Spring 2017 quarter thereafter.
c. Students who were first-time enrollees or were last re-admitted during the Summer 2013 – Spring 2014 period are charged at the rate of $3,000 per 4.5 credit hour course.*
d. Students who were first-time enrollees, or were last re-admitted prior to Summer 2013, are charged at the rate of $2,580 per 4.5 hour course.*
Students who enroll in a course but fail to attend may be subject to a “no show” fee as indicated below.

*Students are charged half of the applicable 4.5 credit hour tuition amount for a 2.25 credit hour course.
