NUR 25400 Transition to Professional Practice

Issues and trends in current nursing practice are applied to achieve mastery of the 7 Basic Human Needs and prepare graduating students for practice. Essential nursing concepts and an insightful overview of global nursing issues facilitate the students’ transition into the nursing profession and to prepare them for lifelong learning and seamless admission to a Baccalaureate Nursing Degree program to begin studies toward their BSN.

Prerequisite

NUR 22400 (with a grade of 'C+' or higher); NUR 22600 (with a grade of 'C+' or higher); PSY 20300, BIO 20700, and a General Education Elective from one of the following categories: The Arts, World History or Global Awareness, or World Languages (with a grade of C or higher)

Corequisite

MAT 12500 (if the student has completed prior to NUR 25400 they must achieve a grade of C or higher) and NUR 14900
