BIO 20700 Microbiology

The study of the structure and function of microorganisms. Areas of emphasis will include: microbial morphology and nomenclature; growth and reproduction; enzymology; cellular bioenergetics; biochemical activities; clinical microbiology encompassing microbial control, immunology and disease processes.

Prerequisite

(BIO 10500 and BIO 10600) or (BIO 10700 and BIO 10900) or (BIO 11000 and BIO 11100) with a grade of C or higher
