BIO 12200 Fundamentals of Ecology and Field Biology

This field-based lab course introduces basic skills and concepts in ecology and field biology. Students will learn to identify representative species of Rockland County. The course is designed to explore the interrelationships between the living and non-living components of the environment such as food webs and ecological succession. Other ecosystems studied are those located in the ocean, rain forest, arctic and desert.

BIO 105, BIO 106 and SCI 104 or permission of the Department Chair
