ART 292 Art in Paris

Learn and explore the birth of Modernism in Paris as seen in the great collections of the Louvre, the Musee d'Orsay and the Pompidou Center of Beaubourg. The course will begin with reading assignments and discussions of key topics online and end with a week-long visit to Paris to view original works and gather material for a culminating paper.
