Rockland Community College High School Program
RCCHSP is open to high school juniors and seniors who wish to register part-time and take classes either in their high school or on campus. Students who have not completed their sophomore year may take courses under special circumstances after a satisfactory personal interview with the appropriate Rockland Community College Division Chair.

To enroll in a course(s) at the student’s respective high school please contact your guidance counselor.
RCCHSP Guidelines
- All students enrolling in RCCHSP will be part-time, non-matriculated students;
- High school seniors are limited to 11 credits per semester;
- Students may take courses at their high school or on campus. On campus includes courses offered on the main campus and at the Haverstraw Center;
- All students enrolling in RCCHSP must take the English assessment test and place into ENG 101/098 or ENG 101 except for students seeking to enroll in studio art, Exercise and Human Performance (EHP) courses or math courses. Students who have completed 16 college credits in this program will be required to adhere to the College’s English assessment and placement policy if they have not already done so;
- All students seeking to register for Math courses must take the Math assessment test and place appropriately for the course(s) that they wish to register for;
- All students must meet prerequisites for all courses;
- RCCHSP students may not register for developmental (credit equivalent) courses that are offered on RCC’s main campus or at the Haverstraw Center;
- All students enrolled in RCCHSP are required to adhere to the policies of the College.
