EHP 116 Beginning Hatha Yoga

This course offers the student an opportunity to participate in a physical activity in an environment where outside stimuli are reduced providing the student maximum opportunity to concentrate on the unique movements of the Hatha Yoga. Hatha Yoga is a discipline of exercises that are designed to improve and maintain physical, mental and spiritual well-being and aid in reducing the effects of stress. The exercises are complemented by modes of deep breathing, concentration and relaxation, and visual techniques.
