Division of Pre-Professional Studies
The Division of Pre-Professional Studies provides hands-on, student-centered learning environments designed to assist students in reaching their academic goals. The Division offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology, Business, Communication, Criminal Justice, Exercise Science, Healthcare Administration, Health Science, Human Services, Interdisciplinary Studies, Psychology, Radiologic Technology, and Sport and Event Management as well as Associate degree programs in Biology, Business, Chemistry, Communication, English, Exercise Science, General Studies, Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Technology, and Religious Studies. The Athletic Training, Business, and Radiologic Technology programs are accredited by their respective professional accrediting agencies. Successful completion of academic programs will allow graduates to take the national certifying examination within their disciplines.
Admission/Progression: The Division of Pre-Professional Studies accepts students into the division who meet the College's and specific programs' progression criteria. Students may have to apply for acceptance into a specific program based on program progression standards. Students will be evaluated according to the specific program's progression criteria. Note: programs may have a limited capacity; early application is advised. Students applying to be readmitted to a program will still be held to program admission standards and must follow any specific program guidelines for readmission.
Confidentiality is required of all students in Pre-Professional Studies programs. Any breach of confidentiality may result in division dismissal.
