SEEN383 Methods of Teaching English

This course provides English education majors with both theoretical and practical knowledge about the profession of English education. Students in this course explore instructional theories in writing, literature, grammar, and reading and then apply those theories to the design of instructional units and lesson plans. Students will demonstrate their ability to apply theoretical knowledge through in-class demonstrations and volunteer tutoring in the Career and Learning Center.
