NUR 4827 Principles of Leadership and Management in Nursing
This course explores theories of leadership and management as it applies to professional nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on assigned roles related to: delegation, conflict resolution, professional networking, quality performance indicators, staffing assignments, case management, strategic planning, budgeting, and group dynamics. Identification of professional nursing roles along with delineation of requirements for certification and advanced practice are reviewed.
