LIS 1000 Introduction to Information Literacy
The course focuses on how to locate sources of information, develop effective search strategies for retrieving information, evaluate information and use information resources ethically. Students should have a full service Internet account, including email or have access through a corporate or educational institution. Students should have a basic familiarity with a PC operating system, web browser and email.
