Regional Linkage System
The Linkage System is a cooperative agreement among PHSC and three other Florida colleges in the Tampa Bay area. The system offers students the opportunity to enter certain programs on a quota-based system. Students applying for admission to a Linkage Program will be required to conform to all program requirements and to institutional policies and procedures of the linkage college.
Generally, these programs admit one class each year, are limited to Florida residents, and allocate a specific number of spaces to PHSC. Information and special application forms are available from PHSC advisors. Applications must be submitted to the dean of nursing and health programs prior to the application deadline of the program for the year admission is desired. PHSC will forward applications from qualified students to the sponsoring college for final selection by that institution.
In order for a college to recommend a student to the linkage institution, the student must have completed 15 credits at the home institution and must meet the individual program GPA minimum.
