MAC 110 Introduction to Digital Design
This 2-unit course focuses on the fundamental processes and tools involved in digital design for the media arts: color, resolution, image manipulation, compositing, typography, vector graphics, basic Web design, project workflow, and output/finishing formats. Students will become familiar with the interfaces of essential software platforms including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver and will apply concepts and techniques to various assignments. This course satisfies the Introduction to Digital Design prerequisite required for many courses at Art Center College of Design.
