MLS-4120 MOLECULAR DIAGNOSTICS

This course examines experimental methods used in molecular biology, with a particular focus on diagnostic techniques commonly used in hospital labs. Basic genetic concepts are reviewed and emerging technologies are discussed. Quality assurance and quality control as well as adherence to laboratory safety practices are emphasized during wet lab experiences.
