MLS-3170 ADVANCED HEMATOLOGY

This course provides an in-depth examination of normal and abnormal hematology results. Emphasis is placed on correlation of abnormal test results and disease states. Bone marrow analysis will also be expanded upon. Currently used hematology analyzers will be dissected and their theory and applications examined. Laboratory activities will be incorporated to supplement the lecture concepts.
