RAD2130 RADIATION PROTECTION/BIOLOGY

A discussion of radiation’s interactions with living systems. Acute and chronic effects of radiation are discussed as well as factors affecting biological responses. The characteristics and interactions with matter will be discussed. Federal and state guidelines are reviewed and methods of minimizing radiation exposure.
