SME1370 ORTHOPEDIC TESTING
In this course, students will learn about the purpose andappropriate application of orthopedic testing for assessment in a rehabilitative or medical setting. This is a skill-building course that teaches students to perform common special tests for joint andmuscle assessment. This course builds on and complements the muscle, posture, and gait assessment skills learned in Orthopedic Care and Functional Anatomy, This course teaches assessment, which is within a massage therapist''s scope of practice and is different from diagnosis. Diagnosis is not within a massage therapist''s scope of practice and is not presented in this course. Pre or Co -Requisite: SME1360 Orthopedic Care
