  • High school diploma or equivalent is recommended.
  • Basic knowledge of the computer, computer concepts, and keyboarding is needed.

Advising Notes

This program is intended upon completion to prepare a student to take the CompTIA A+ Certification Exams. Upon scoring high enough on this exam, a student is eligible for entry level employment as a help desk support technician.

This course taken with IT Fundamentals, Service Desk Support, and CyberSafe is part of the Help Desk Support Certificate.

This course taken with CompTIA Network+ is part of the PC & Networking Certificate program.
