HRT205 Greenhouse Crop Production

This course introduces students to greenhouse growing. Construction styles, coverings, heating, ventilation and mechanization are examined. Current practices and theories on propagation, fertilization, healthy growing and integrated pest management (IPM) suitable for the New England grower will be introduced. Greenhouse based projects will allow students to experience successful growing.
