Advanced topics in network and web security are presented including network security attacks and protections, advanced security mechanisms and models, symmetric encryption and message confidentiality, public-key cryptography and message authentication, advanced algorithms for the generation of security keys, encryption and decryption algorithms, digital certificates, advanced technology of email security, IP security, web security, network system security, and firewalls.
