MAT094 Intermediate Algebra

This course covers all the essential topics needed to be successful in Precalculus I and other higher level math courses. Topics include algebraic operations with real numbers, exponents, factoring, rational expressions and equations, radical expressions and equations, complex numbers, graphs of linear and quadratic equations, graphs of inequalities, solutions of linear and quadratic equations, solutions of linear systems and systems of inequalities. Upon completion, students will have a solid foundation of algebra and will be able to solve real world applications and use appropriate models for analysis.

Prerequisite

CARR of 31 or above and CEAR 54 and 81, or NGAR 250 or above and NGQA 26 or above, or High School GPA of 2.7 or above.
