OFT138 Medical Coding Practicum

This course provides students with the opportunity to apply coding principles learned in the classroom environment in an actual on-site health care facility or by completing a hands-on coding simulation. The on-site practicum consists of thirty hours as arranged between the work site supervisor and the student. The simulation consists of thirty hours of coding practical scenario equivalent to thirty hours of work experience.
