MAT208 Calculus for Business, Social and Life Sciences

Provides a foundation for understanding and using the basic concepts of calculus to aid problem solving in the business, social and life sciences. Topics covered are limits, continuity, differntial calculus of one variable to include polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions, applications of differential calculus, and an introduction to integral calculus and its applications. Technological tools will be used to aid effective problem solving. Fulfills open, liberal arts, and mathematics electives.
