SWG203 Advocacy for Elders
Designed to provide basic knowledge and techniques to use advocacy as a democratic process for change. Included in the course will be techniques for taking action with others to solve common problems. The course will provide an understanding of the legislative process in Massachusetts and practical ways of influencing representative government. Problems of Medicare, Medicaid, wills, fraud, and Social Security also will be presented.
