SOC202 Race, Gender, and Class
Emphasizes both the psychological and sociological conditions of minority groups. Discussions will include, but not be limited to, the dynamics of assimilation, stratification, and social mobility, as well as the impact of minority status on personalities. The nature and causes of prejudice and discrimination also will be explored. (Formerly SOC126)
