UCF101 Urban Forestry 1

Introduction to integrated management of the urban forest. Students are acquainted with the fundamental principles, tools and techniques for inventory and value assessment of forested and associated open land in the urban environment. Special emphasis is given to identification of forest resources important in rapidly developing areas. (2 hours of lecture, 4 hours of lab per week)
