PHY100 Applied Physics

An introductory course intended for students in the technology programs. Topics include kinematics, mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetics and optics. Lecture and assignments will emphasize the industrial applications of these topics. Class demonstrations will be used to reinforce lecture material. (3 hours of lecture, 2 hours of lab per week) Fulfills open and liberal arts electives.
