Elementary Algebra 1 |Pre: MAT013 with 'C' or better or placement exam score |A coverage of essential topics in elementary algebra. The course is designed for students who have never taken high school algebra, did not complete high school algebra successfully, or have been out of school long enough to need a review of the basic concepts of algebra. Topics include: operations on integers, basic principles of using variables, linear equations and inequalities, applications problems and graphing linear equations. This course fulfills no elective requirements. (Formerly numbered MAT101)
