MSSG 1413 Anatomy Phys. for Massage Thrpy
3 lec/2 lab (4 Cr.) This course offers an in-depth coverage of the structure and function of the human body. Includes cell structure and function, tissues, body organization, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous, and endocrine systems. Emphasizes homeostasis/wellness care. Meets the minimum 75 contact hour requirement for Anatomy and Physiology for licensure. Prerequisites and/or co-requisites: Reading level 4 and courses taken in level sequence order or department chair approval. 80 contact hours.
