SWK 473 Contemporary Treatment Approaches for Substance Use Disorders

(3-0-3) This course gives students a more in-depth examination of some of the current evidence-based treatment approaches used with persons with substance use disorders. Students will gain knowledge and skills related to the current treatment modalities and will be able to compare and contrast them, determining which treatment(s) are best suited for each individual client.
