NURA 103 Nursing I

(4-6-6) Emphasis is on wellness, health promotion and health maintenance throughout the life span. Students are introduced to nursing theories and begin to use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, treat and evaluate individual responses to common physical, psychological and social elements of the environment. Students begin to develop theoretical and clinical competence while caring for patients in health care and community settings.
