NURB 499C Advanced Nursing Practicum

(3-12-3) This course is the senior capstone course of the BNP. This course provides an opportunity to demonstrate the application of critical thinking skills through the nursing process, in the planning and provision of nursing care for patients at any stage of the life span experiencing health alterations. This will be done in a supervised setting and will meet the Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN) integrated practicum requirement. This course focuses on facilitating an interdisciplinary approach to provide and manage nursing care for individuals and families of diverse cultures throughout the life span, who have alterations in health. This course satisfies the integrative component for general education.
