SSE 650 Spacecraft Design and Fabrication

This course covers the principles of spacecraft design, including space environmental and astrodynamical considerations, and overviews principle sub-systems of a spacecraft including: power, communications, altitude sensors for health and safety, as well as payload (scientific packages). Also covered are design considerations such as materials, weight, heat dissipation, radiation protection, shock tolerance, testing, and ground operations.
