NURS 320 Pathopharmacology II
Pathopharmacology II (lecture 2 credits and lab 1credit) focuses on the underlying pathophysiology of concepts and their related pharmacology to provide deeper consideration of the underlying changes in physiology associated with associated diseases and health issues. Students will learn mechanisms of action, nursing considerations, and adverse effects of selected medications and will incorporate knowledge from prior pharmacology courses into complex cases. The course integrates multisystem pharmacological considerations into nursing care planning.
