MATH 420 History and Philosophy of Mathematics
A history of mathematics developed from a conceptual as well as a chronological point of veiw. Mathematics as both a sicence and an art will be considered with the perspective of different philosophies of math. A computer presentation utliizing a database of internet research will be this course's final project. Pre-Requisite: MATH 103 or equivalent, or consent of instructor. Spring on campus even years.
