ENGL 460 British Novel
Complete novels by cononical British authors are read, with at least one book every semester being suitable for use on the secondary education level. At various times the course has included novels by Defoe, Jane Austen, Charlotte Bronte, Dickens, Slizabeth Gaskell, Joseph Conrad, Evelyn Waugh and others. The course may be presented in seminar or tutorial format. Pre-requisite: English 120 or instructor's consent. Fall on campus odd years; Fall online odd years.
