EC 298 AA Internship

The purpose of this experience is to relate what is learned in the Early childhood classes to actual teaching practices. Students in the Associate of Arts Early Childhood program will work with the Mayville State internship coordinator to plan an appropriate experience in a child care setting with children ages 0-5. They will teach both formal and informal (play) activities under spervision. Students must have 150 hours minimum direct contact with children. This experience occurs at the conclusion of the AA program. Pre-requisites: EC 313, EC 333 and consent of instructor. Fall, Spring, Summer on campus; Fall, Spring Summer online with instructor approval.
