CHEM 342 Organic Chemistry II
This course is a continuation of the study of fundamental concepts of organic chemistry including structure and reactivity, name reactions, carbon-carbon bond forming reactions, biomolecules, polymers, and multistep synthesis. This course will utilize current software applications for data collection, analysis and presentation. Chemistry modeling software will be used to present and discuss various course concepts including reactivity. This course consists of 4 hours of lecture per week. Co-Req: CHEM 342L; Pre-Req: CHEM 341. Spring on campus. (CCN course)
