PSYC 422 Learning Theory and Evaluations
This course is designed as a higher-ordered study of intertwined and varied theoretical perspectives on learning, cognition, and behavior management. The theories will help students identify a range of tools for planning, instruction and evaluation, beginning with the identification of learning goals, the subsequent diagnosis of diverse student needs, provision for effective instruction with feedback, critique and creation of evaluation methods and use of assessment results to improve teaching as well as learning. Specific topics addressed also include classroom management, educational diagnosis, assessment and interpretation, and practical applications.
