HIS.2093 Presenting the Past: The Craft of Public History

Museums, media presentations, re-enactments, historical societies, etc. and their own projects will provide the means for students to explore the many facets that determine how history is preserved, interpreted, and distributed. Special emphasis will be placed on the types and varieties of museums, as well as the "history of creating history" for the greater public in general.
