CAM.3030 History of Television and Radio
This course surveys the development of mass media in the 20th and 21st centuries, focusing on radio, television, and streaming media. It focuses on the historical evolution of these communication forms, exploring the technological, economic, social, political, and aesthetic aspects of broadcasting and digital media. We will examine how traditional broadcasting shaped modern media landscapes and how contemporary innovations, such as streaming platforms and podcasting, continue to redefine mass communication.
