CAM 2006 Theory of Game Design
This course will introduce students to the theory and practice involved in designing both analogue and digital games. It will cover principles of game design such as mechanics, storytelling, and interaction. The course will cover design steps such as storyboarding, character design, and prototyping, and engage the learner in projects designed to practice parts of the design process. Additionally, the course will implement UX (User Experience) Design and Design Thinking to take a player-centric approach focused on usability and accessibility.
