COVID-19 Testing

Entry Testing: Manhattanville has made the decision to require vaccination. Manhattanville students will not be tested upon arrival to campus.  If a student has been granted a medical or religious exemption, or an extension due not being fully vaccinated, proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of arrival, or a negative antigen test no more than 6 hours prior to arrival, is required for residential students. There is no entry testing for fully vaccinated students.

Diagnostic Testing: The Manhattanville College Student Health & Counseling Center (SHAC) will offer COVID-19 diagnostic testing for full-time undergraduate or residential graduate students.  The testing is available for students who are symptomatic, as well as students who may have been exposed to COVID-19.  Students may be administered the PCR and/or “rapid” antigen tests based on availability. Students will need to make an appointment at SHAC by calling 914-323-5245.

Travel Testing: Students who require COVID-19 testing for travel may request testing through SHAC. Students traveling to Manhattanville internationally, or from a designated level 3 or higher country/territory, will be required to be tested 3-5 days after arrival to campus.  Students should make sure to research the COVID-19 travel testing requirements prior to their arrival, and schedule their arrival test with SHAC. Students may obtain their test at an off-site location and upload their result to the Student Health Portal (mville.studenthealthportal.com), or obtain COVID-19 testing with SHAC.

Testing for Students with Vaccine Exemptions:  If a student has been granted a medical or religious exemption to the COVID-19 vaccine, they are required to participate in weekly surveillance testing. Full-time residential undergraduates and residential graduate students may receive their testing with SHAC or at an off-site location and upload their result to the Student Health Portal (mville.studenthealthportal.com). Required weekly surveillance testing of exempted students will only be available during designated testing times (please contact SHAC for designated times/availability).  Part-time undergraduates and graduate students will be required to obtain a weekly surveillance test at an off-site location and upload their test result to the student health portal every week.  There must be at least four days between weekly surveillance tests.

Students who do not test at SHAC or upload their weekly surveillance test result will be restricted from campus until a negative test (within the appropriate date range) is uploaded.  Repeated non-compliance will be adjudicated through the Manhattanville College Student Code of Conduct process.
