PSY 5008 PSYCHOLOGY OF RELATIONSHIPS

Persistent patterns of dealing with significant others are examined from birth through adulthood. John Bowlby, Ronald Laing, Carl Rogers, Jean Baker Miller, and other topical writers are assigned. Topics include: roles, attachment, love, commit-ment, symbiosis, autonomy, mutuality, and intimacy. This course will make use of group interaction. Recommended: Fundamentals of Psychology.
