BIO 5036 Biochemistry II
This is a two-semester course designed to introduce students to the interrelatedness of molecular framework, bimolecular activities and functioning of living organisms. Structure and function of proteins, enzymology, bioenergetics, and glucosemetabolism (Glycolysis, TCA cycle) are emphasized. Corequisites: BIO 3037/3038. Prerequisites: Principles of Biology I and II, Principles of Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II. Juniors and Seniors or permission of instructor.
